Ehrle HD940 – Standard Hot Pressure Washer (400v)

First step into three-phase hot water. Serious power, compact chassis.

Three-phase 400v unlocks the same step-change in performance for hot water as it does for cold. The HD940 delivers 190 bar of pressure at 14 l/min, with diesel-fired heating to 98°C, all in a chassis lighter than the larger HD1140. The 1,400 rpm pump runs quieter and lasts longer than budget alternatives that rev at twice the speed. Etronic II controls throughout.

Sector applications

Automotive – HGV, bus and commercial vehicle depots

190 bar hot water is what a 44-tonne articulated truck or a double-decker bus actually needs — enough pressure to break the bond on layered diesel film and brake dust, enough heat to emulsify the grease underneath, enough flow to rinse a full-size vehicle in minutes rather than a quarter of an hour.

Manufacturing – large-scale production and engineering

The right size of mobile machine for factories running serious machine tools, robotic welding cells and large CNC equipment. Three-phase power runs cool through long cleaning sessions; hot water at 98°C deals with carbon deposits on welding fixtures and cooked-on coolant residue that cold machines barely touch.

Agriculture – large arable and dairy operations

Sized for major farms and contractor yards running combines, big tractors, sprayers and articulated slurry equipment. Hot water shifts the layered organic film that builds up on this kind of machinery far faster than cold, and the 14 l/min flow makes full machinery wash-down realistic on a daily basis.

The right answer when you have three-phase available and the HD823 isn't quite enough.
