Ehrle KD1140 – Food Processing Cold Pressure Washer (400v)
The heavy hitter of the food-grade range.
The largest mobile food-grade machine in the Ehrle range. 180 bar of pressure at a remarkable 17 l/min — almost double the flow of the smaller machines, which is exactly what large food production sites need when the wash window is short and the floor area is large. Stainless steel pump head, accepts hot inlet water up to 60°C.

Sector applications
Food – large meat, dairy, fish and ready-meal production
Sized for facilities where end-of-shift wash-down covers thousands of square metres of floor, hundreds of metres of conveyor and miles of stainless pipework — all within a four-to-six-hour overnight window. 17 l/min makes that realistic; the stainless pump survives heavy-duty foaming caustic; high pressure lifts dried protein and fat residue that smaller machines barely touch.
Pharmaceutical – large-scale GMP manufacturing
The right specification for commercial-scale pharmaceutical sites — tablet, capsule, sterile injectable and biological production. Handles wash-down of vessel exteriors, granulator housings, fluid bed dryer skins, IBC washing stations and clean-room corridors. The stainless construction passes FDA, MHRA and EMA inspection regimes.
Agriculture – large dairies and abattoirs
Built for major dairy operations and abattoir sites where the same hygiene standards as commercial food production apply at industrial scale. The flow rate is what makes thorough overnight wash-down possible across large parlour and processing-floor areas.
When the wash window is tight, the area is large, and the audit standards are uncompromising — this is the production-scale option.
